The Goddess of Music & Dance from New York City, María del Mar, started her professional music and ballet career at the age of 11 years old as an artist under The Kennedy Center's Washington Performing Arts Society Children of the Gospel and at the Wolf Trap Performing Arts Center in Washington DC. María del Mar's debut solo single "Back To Music (B.T.M.)" released in September 2022 is a electronic dance record that speaks to her return to recording music during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was followed up by the release of her reggaeton single "Dolorín", an ode to being your own medicine, released in July 2023. Then came "2024", released in November 2024, a club pop single to caption the Year of the Dragon and release that inner dragon energy. Her Valentine's Day 2025 singles, "Don't Need Permission ft. MSYJ" and it's dancehall remix "DNP The Mashup ft. GHSTKNTE", are love letters to one's self for all who listen. And her latest stream of singles from 2025 through 2026 serve as a ladder for her fans, the Angels, to climb higher into her realm of sound: "Danseuse", "Jukebox", "Outta Mind", "Clown Shit", "Incredible" and "Looking For You". María del Mar's work as a professional dancer and recording artist connected her with the film industry landing her supporting roles in short films such as "Vaudeville Swindler" filmed in Chicago. Her work as a ballet dancer and singer/songwriter also brought her into the world of fashion through opportunities she received to both dance and model in New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. She has found a way to blend her experience in acting and fashion into her music by creating two brands, Casa de María del Mar Film Productions (Casa Film Productions) and Evelyne & Gordon Fashion House (E&G Fashion House) that support the artist projects she produces through her indie label, RebelbyDesign Music Group. She continues to incorporate her work as a ballet dancer into her work as a recording artist as seen through her music visuals for her singles "Danseuse" and "Outta Mind". Even more of her unique blending of the two art forms as the Goddess of Music and Dance will be showcased through her visuals for her upcoming studio projects entitled "SOM The EP" and her first full length studio album "Sounds of María".
