'Incredible' finally dropping is...INCREDIBLE!

The fact that my new song "Incredible" is finally dropping on 03/37/2026 is Incredible! With the two single and remix releases early in February 2025 ('Don't Need Permission' and 'DNP The Mashup') and four single releases in September-October 2025 these could have been an album drop with 'Incredible' and 'Looking For You' (out on 04/24/2026) added on. I decided against that because one, both 'Incredible' and 'Looking For You' has backing vocals that were muted from the final master and two, I didn't want to wait until the songs were properly fixed and remastered before I put out music again. I'd rather keep some kind of consistent release of music going even if it was only twice a year so far.

It was kind of painstaking to fix 'Incredible' and 'Looking For You' because I didn't want to mess up the mix that Juancho had created. I had also asked him for several changes already and he was busy with other projects so I wasn't going to pull him away from that. I got it done and the songs are in queu to be released. Finally!

Fun fact about this tidbit is me getting into the mix to make changes and fixes has helped me start getting over some of my fears about producing and mixing my own music. M-A-R-I-A was produced by me and that's previewed on SoundCloud. I also produced 'Industry Standard' that is supposed to be on the Sounds of Maria album, however....getting the mix just right for the instrumentals and the vocals still feels daunting. I work on it bit by bit to try to get over that hump of needless anxiety. I linked with Bay Eight in Miami who was interested in working on it with me and there's of course my favorite spot in New York, Jungle City Studios. But, part of me wants this to be one touched by my hands only. Can't explain it. It's just so for me...

For the next few weeks though I'm turning most of my attention back to the promo visuals for Incredible. Those are releasing weekly on Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, X and YouTube. Then it will be promo visuals released weekly for 'Looking For You'. I'm very excited to see how you guys like these two songs.

About the album...I had a reunion call with Juancho. We had a long video chat to catch up on where everything is with the releases and previous singles put out and we started planning for the next productions. I have new material, some old as well, that I'm itching to get into production. He will produced the music while I record the songs in my RbD studio and other studios RbD will partner with while I'm back in my 'making art around the world' travel mode. This calls for a trip back to StereoJoint Studios eventually. We'll be chatting about that too so he can cut out a block of time at the studio for just RbD sessions. Treasure, who produced 'BTM' and 'Clown Shit' is sort of MIA again so I'm not sure if we'll be doing anything new for the SOM EP or the SOM album even though we had plans for some AfroPop music and others. But, I am going to tap GHSTKNTE, who produced 'DNP The Mashup' again for another dance tune and we're both looking forward to that.

From what I have in mind, a few will be released as singles, some will come together to make up an EP that I'll call S.O.M. (short for Sounds of María The EP) and this will lead into the full album Sounds of María (S.O.M. 2.0) that will included a few recent releases from last year, new releases from this year and unreleased music. So, the EP will be all new bangers and the album will be a mix of fresh drops with a few flashbacks.
